Recent decisions by our esteemed leader seem to contradict what the country actually wants. As we all know, this doesn't matter to the narcissist-in-chief. He doesn't care about our collective interests at all; he's only about furthering his agenda and contradicting or overturning every policy that Obama championed.
Obamacare
Recent polls finally have put the favorability of Obamacare above 50 percent, while the Senate Republicans' plan is hovering somewhere between 15-30 percent favorability. This hasn't stopped Trump from pushing the plan, though. He continues to describe Obamacare as a "total disaster," even though evidence overwhelmingly shows it just needs to be tweaked. Recently he has abandoned 'repeal and replace' with a 'repeal and replace later' mantra. Screw all the people who rely on Obamacare for their health insurance. The only thing that really matters to Trump is getting rid of Obama's policy, regardless of who it hurts.
Paris Climate Accord
While support for leaving the Paris Climate Accord falls along party lines for the most part, it's not as striking as on other issues. 91 percent of Democrats and 35 percent of Republican respondents saying that Trump should not remove regulations intended to combat climate change. Overall, 55-60 percent of people think that leaving is not a good idea, and that it hurts our standing in the world. This is just another case of Trump doing what he thinks is right in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Business and money are more important than people's lives to Trump.
Cuba
Trump has recently spoken of rolling back re-establishment of relations with Cuba and the loosening of travel restrictions to the island, despite amazingly strong support for these measures. Even 62 percent of Republicans support these measures.
